Dave Harmacek of Harmacek Database Systems grew up in the Midwest, then made Boston his home for over 35 years. Now, he lives in Nashua, NH, often considered a suburb of Boston.
His interest in computers started in the late 60’s, and after college and a MBA, he joined the “remote computing” (timesharing) industry. In 1983, he headed a project to connect the then new microcomputers, to timeshared databases. Seeing the potential of the microcomputer, he became an independent consultant using microcomputer databases. He “saw the light” about the Revelation Products in 1984 and has focused his efforts on the Revelation Software products ever since.
As a principal of Krakow & Harmacek, Inc., and then on his own, he has developed and supported many Revelation-based systems. He has spoken at 5 Revelation Conferences and has been an authorized training center and solution provider. His training materials and utilities for Advanced Revelation have been used around the world.
Dave is an avid motorcycle tourer and can be seen zipping around New England and beyond on his BMW.
